Surgery Times - by appointment
(Please note that we are closed on all bank Holidays)
The surgery times vary a little from day to day but there are normally two doctors doing morning and afternoon surgeries.
The doctors' morning appointments usually start at 9.00am and end between 11.00am and 11.30am.
Doctors' afternoon surgeries usually start between 3.00pm and 4.00pm and generally last for two hours. Practice nurse appointments also vary from day to day but there are usually appointments throughout the day.
There are normally two doctors present each day. Please try to book an appointment time in advance where possible. We have appointments available at least two weeks in advance and please do let us know if you no longer require your appointment to allow other patients to use the slot.
One doctor is available for emergencies throughout the day.
Reception Opening Times
Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.30pm excluding Bank Holidays.
Outside of these hours you should call NHS Wales on 111.
Approximately once a month the surgery will close for an afternoon to facilitate staff training. These sessions will be publicised in advance in the local press, on our website and in and around the surgery premises. Shropdoc will cover the surgery for any problem that cannot wait until the next day.
Urgent Problems
One doctor is available for urgent problems, including minor injuries, throughout surgery opening times. However, if you feel that your problem is an emergency please dial 999 or go to the nearest A&E department.
Please do not come to the surgery out of surgery hours as there are no staff on duty.
